We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Because we are nothing if not selfless, we've gathered some Christmas cheer to send to all of our wonderful and faithful readers. You rule. Here are some thing to celebrate:
1. ABC Daytime's Christmas Album, "A Holiday Affair"
I don't know what I love most. Is it the true Broadway divas (Renee Elise Goldsberry, Kathy Brier) among people who are...not Broadway divas? Is it the fact I have a vision of Ignacio Serricchio excitedly telling himself, "This is your year! A meaty role as a wannabe mobster and now a spot on a CD! This rules!" only to find his GH character dead by December. Is it the fact that the CD cover was so clearly created in Microsoft Publisher? I think that may be it...
2. Christmas traditions on soaps, from Dr. Hardy and then Alan telling the Christmas story on General Hospital to the Hortons living it up on Days of Our Lives to the continuing dreaminess of Thorsten Kaye playing with trains on All My Children, the holiday episodes always make me super happy.
3. No more ABC veterans have been fired this week...that we know of
4. Steve and Kayla being reunited makes the world go round.
And we have a Christmas list of our very own. Since we've been, uh, nice this year, we'd really appreciate it if the following would happen:
Does anyone else have some soapy Christmas wishes? Let us know and hopefully they'll all come true!
