The Day's Dumbest Dialogue
Jax, to Carly: Am I disappointed you slept with Sonny? Yes I am. Am I angry? Am I hurt? All of the above. Does it make me love you any less? Absolutely not. You say it’s over with you and Sonny and I want to believe that.
Oh lord, where to begin? The dumbness has so many levels:
1) "Disappointed"? On what planet do these writers live where two engaged people are discussing one's infidelity -- with the other's arch-enemy -- and "disappointed" is the word used to describe it?
2) It SHOULD make him love her less. Hell, I can't think of one reason they've given us for him to love her in the first place. Let me reiterate: He went out of town so she married and slept with her ex-husband. Less love is the least of things she's earned!
3) Jax wants to believe Carly when she says it's over between her and Sonny. Well, I want to believe that ABC Daytime is aware that their flagship show has become complete crap and executives there are just waiting for the right moment to lower the boom on the GH showrunners to make room for people who will actually write and produce a great soap with the excellent cast and history they've been given, and that George Clooney is currently tracking me down so he can explain that I'm the only woman for him. What do all three of these beliefs have in common? They're all really, really crazy and lack any foundation in reality whatsoever.
- Evil But Twinless

We can only pray that Brenda returns to town (even if she looks suspiciously like Greenlee Smythe) so Jax and Sonny can finally see how low they've both sunk... well at least Jax. Sonny and Carly seem just about right together.
Seriously what woman (or gay man) would give Sonny a second look with an extremely sexy, successful, sexy, accented, sexy, and funny Aussie businessman hanging around.
This show makes no sense.
And Sonny is really short.

I don't think Brenda is the solution to any problem, she's the kind of character I've always hated and until Meredith Grey reigned supreme as the can't get out her own way to be happy and so. damn. pathetic. about it. That said I would really it if casting Laura Wright as Carly meant the end of Carly and Sonny and she embarked on a real relationship with Jax. That's like EBTw's dreams. Going nowhere fast.

I know that Guza and Co. don't expect us to remember last week, much less a few years ago, but...y'know, some of us still remember when Jax left Brenda at the altar because she kissed Sonny. Am I supposed to believe that he loves Carly more than Brenda? Please.

Jax and Carly just make me sad. I gag when I see Carson together so CarJax shoudl thrill me ( cause I do love the character of Carly.) But it doesn't. The writing is weak and unbelieveable. They were thrown together too fast and their storlyine is too dependent on Sonny. Sonny should be far away from this couple. Every time Carly looks at Sonny with her 'I could love you again" eyes Jax looks a little less like a man. Soon he will be a eunch. Its just sad.
