What Will Happen?!?!

The trial of the...um, week concludes today on General Hospital with Jason Morgan finally learning his fate. Will he go to jail? Will he walk away an innocent man? Will Ric lose his mind spectacularly and claw the jurors' eyes out if Jason is acquitted? Will Cam throw a victory party if he's convicted? I WONDER!

Well, I know I'm biting my nails, and I don't even watch that show. It's just too gripping and real. Now, if you'll excuse me I must super glue myself to my television.

The thing is, it wouldn't be half as bad if Jason was actually, you know, a villain or at least a morally ambiguous protagonist. Listening to him give heartfelt romantic advice to Spinelli in the same episode where his mob-funded lawyer just received fake evidence from a one-time terrorist that will allow him to duck a murder charge for a crime he committed was simply...OMGWTF?!

You know, when I watched the show I kept thinking "do the writers honestly believe this is a viable plot line?" because, really, even if you don't watch the show on a regular basis, EVERYONE knows that there is no way that Guza is going to let the Port Charles Messiah go to prison FOR A CRIME HE COMMITTED!

The only point of this stupidly ill-conceived plot was the great "reveal" that Jason and Liz slept together, which, by the way, almost everyone knew except for poor, dim Lucky. Surely, there could have been a more creative way for this to come out. Then again, here I am asking for the "writing" staff to be creative so I must be on something almost as potent as they are.

Oh, this is just sad.

Oh, gollly. A cliffhanger. How unexpected.

Oh, darn. I meant to super glue myself to my TV so I would be sure to watch, but ended up gluing myself to the microwave instead. Hey, they're both rectangular. Could happen to anyone.
