Our Column in the 2/5 Issue of SOD
Our latest My Take/My Take, Too column is featured in the February 5th issue of Soap Opera Digest, arriving in subscribers' mailboxes now and available on newsstands today. Becca laments the Bad Idea Jeans the powers-that-be of General Hospital are wearing these days, and Mallory complains about the baffling inconsistencies of law and ethics on All My Children and The Young and the Restless.

AMC is going through the "Give Me a Break" phase. Suddenly, Ryan has some mutant form of amnesia and is back in love with Kendall, which of course frees up Zack to get cozy with The Real Greenlee, leaving Annie out in the cold - and proabably halfway out the door. It's amazing how the powers have screwed around with their plotline to accomodate Budig. I wonder how Melissa Claire Egan feels now about doing that on-air promo welcoming back The Real Greenlee with open arms? (Weird. She didn't even work with Budig, but was brought on as a Greenlee-lookalike for Ryan.) Egan's promo was only a notch below Aiden Turner's treacherous, sleazy spiel declaring how there is only one Greenlee. Anyway, I sense that Egan is half-way out the door (hopefully with Turner in tow), along with Amanda Baker if The Real Babe decides she wants her discarded job back.
