Yes, it's time for the big show itself! Let's see if the real Emmy voters have any overlap with the Serial Drama faux Emmy voters, who think that the following people deserve to go home with an award tonight:

Outstanding Supporting Actor: Jeff Branson

You all have obviously been burned before, because the only time you thought the most deserving actor would actually wind up winning was in the case of Kirsten Storms!

Liz's coat dress is heinous. Someone should explain to flat chested girls that ribcage and sternum is NOT attractive and are not meant to be put on display. If you don't have breasts, too bad, please cover up.

Buzz Aldrin standing up awkwardly has been my favorite moment of the night.
I agree that Tamara was overdue, LB. I also think she has a ton of goodwill with voters, because she has been on so many shows and seems really well liked.

I can't even remember what else is coming up that's exciting. Oh, Best Actress is a worthy category, actually, I'll hold onto that!

Oh great. The Melrose Place remake. Who thought this was a good idea anyway? Let's remake Dallas or Knots Landing. How about you start with great source material instead of simply mediocre.

Congrats to Tamara, but as I said on the thread about the supporting actress nominees, she owes a thank you to SN and MBE. In part because SN pushed for her to be cast, in part because they both played key parts in her submission reel, and in part because their characters were totally sacrificed for the glory of Ava.
That said, TB really did an awesome job and deserved the win.

And why are they rushing? Everybody is speed talking and it is making me nervous/making me think of Micro Machine commercials.

I knew this would be a weird emmy when AMC, Days and B&B were the soaps nominated for best drama even though Y&R and OLTL were eligible. SO MUCH WTF - it started off well and has veered into strange territory with Darin Brooks.

That poll just had a bunch of Alicia fans because she shouldn't of even been nominated in Supporting Actress and on top of that comparing her tape to the other actress she should not of ever won, thank god that did not happen.

1 2 3 4 5..6 7 8 9 10...11 12 :-) The kids, the muppets, the guest stars, and I am in tears remembering Mr. Hooper.
I may be a snarky soap lover/hater, but Mr. Hooper's death was a defining point in my young life. Bravo to the whole gang at Sesame Street then and now, here and world wide. They are heroes.
