Sucks So Good: True Blood 3.9, "Everything Is Broken"

This latest episode of True Blood had me clapping my hands with glee and staring at my television like so:

It was awesome, is the point that I am trying to make. After the jump, thoughts about "Everything is Broken". And exclamation points! Lots and lots of exclamation points!

Sucks So Good: True Blood 3.8, "Night on the Sun"

How is it possible that there are only four episodes left of True Blood this season?! It's a few weeks away, but I can already see the Alexander Skarsgard shaped hole (so, a huge, very pretty hole) this is going to leave in my heart.

Sucks So Good: True Blood 3.7, "Hitting The Ground"

Sunday evenings are, traditionally, the second worst part of any week; Monday mornings obviously claim the title for the worst part. It's usually hard to enjoy a Sunday night with Monday's presence looming eerily, taunting you with the bags under your bloodshot eyes that are soon to come. So powerful is Monday that I'm on summer vacation right now and have nothing to even do on Mondays, and I still find myself dreading them.

The TV gods, however, are smiling on us this summer and have filled our Sundays with Mad Men AND True Blood in one night. It's glorious, no?

Which brings us to our latest installment of Sucks So Good (thanks again to Mary Beth for the name!) and talk of the blood and gore in Bon Temps. After the jump, chatter about "Hitting the Ground"!

True Blood: I Got a Right to Sing the Blues

Welcome to the newest Serial Drama feature, which does not yet have a pithy name, because "A place for Mallory to talk about True Blood without hijacking posts for other, less awesome shows" is far from pithy, but whatever: True Blood! A place for a weekly discussion about the goings on in Bon Temps and a place where we can all marvel at primetime soap done right.

I do have to warn you, though, that sometimes vampire and werewolf based entertainment brings out a side of me that I'm not totally comfortable with, namely the side of myself that makes stupid puns and giggles at them much to the consternation of everybody else in the world. I am only telling you this because there is a chance that I might, at some point, say something like "Fangs for the good time, Eric!" or something similarly humiliating. Please know that I am judging myself harshly.
